VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM

Thanks for taking the time to apply to volunteer at  Balter Festival.

This year will be the last ever Balter.

We couldn't have celebrated all these beautiful, silly, fun years without the help from all our volunteers!

Here is your chance to be involved in our epic finale.
Let's give Balter the final farewell it deserves!

General Stewards

Stewards are the eyes and ears of the festival; whether you’re welcoming people at the front gate or keeping the crowd hydrated at the caravan stage, we need you! Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends and be a part of the crew while still enjoying the party.

At Balter you only have to work 2x8hr shifts over the weekend (easy right?!) You will get 1 x meal and drink tokens per shift and you can even choose a friend to work with.

'Wednesday to Sunday' availability: This means that you can make yourself available onsite from Wednesday afternoon ( Arrival midday - 9pm) until Sunday. It does not guarantee you a Wednesday shift.

'Friday to Monday' availability: This means that you can be available to volunteer up to and including Monday evening. It does not guarantee you a Monday shift.

Post-event Litter Picker

Post event litter picking is now full - you can still apply to litter pick during the event though!

Event Litter picker

Litter picking is short and sweet, as a litter picker you will work 4×4 hour shifts with a meal and drinks token for each shift. That’s a meal and a nice cold pint each day of the festival. Shifts are Friday – Monday 8am – 12pm so make sure you can stay on Monday if you apply.

Supervisors

If you’re serious about getting an inside view into how festivals are run on the ground, are physically fit, able to take initiative, responsible, and generally like other humans then this role is for you. You will work 2×8 hour shifts over the weekend, receive 2 x meal and drinks tokens per shift and be a really integral part of the success of the festival.

------------

While we aim to give everyone their first choice it depends on how many spaces are left in certain roles. We will get in touch if we cannot offer your first choice to offer an alternative. We will send confirmation of your role once we have processed your application. Please email volunteers@balterfestival.com with any questions

Shift times for stewards are released on site, not before.

Please note it is your responsibility to be available for the relevant days.
